About this policy
Onside Growth provides website, advertising and SEO services, supported by Onside Hub. This policy covers our public website at onsidegrowth.com.au and our client workspace at hub.onsidegrowth.com.au.
References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Onside Growth. For a question or privacy request, email info@onsidegrowth.com.au. Features and connected services available in Hub depend on your agreed service and workspace configuration.
Information we handle
- Contact information: the name, email address, business details and messages you choose to send us.
- Hub account information: your sign-in identity, name, email, organisation, workspace membership and permissions.
- Connected service information: selected account or property identifiers, authorisation details and marketing reports from services connected to your workspace. Where website-management features are enabled, this also includes website content and connected repository or deployment information.
- Workspace content: information you provide about your business, conversations, AI responses, selected report results, drafts and records of reviews, approvals and actions.
- Technical and security information: information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, errors and access records used to deliver and protect the services.
The website’s project brief form prepares text in your browser. Choosing “Copy your brief” copies that text to your clipboard without sending it to us. Where “Send enquiry” is available, choosing it sends your name, email address and brief through our website server and email provider, Resend, for forwarding to info@onsidegrowth.com.au. Sending is unavailable until our email service is configured. You can also contact us directly by email.
We do not save form submissions in a website database or CRM. Our email provider and the receiving mailbox may retain submitted information according to their settings and applicable requirements. Security controls use limited request information to help prevent misuse; we do not deliberately log enquiry text.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide agreed services, manage authorised workspace access, retrieve and explain connected marketing reports, support permitted content work, maintain security and keep appropriate business and activity records.
Authorised agency staff and members of your client workspace can access information according to their responsibilities and permissions. Your organisation is responsible for choosing its authorised users and providing information it is entitled to share.
Providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate the services. These include Vercel for website hosting and, where enabled, deployment previews; Resend for website enquiries when sending is enabled; Auth0 for Hub sign-in; Google for connected marketing reports and, once enabled, website analytics and advertising conversion measurement; OpenAI for AI assistance; and GitHub for connected website source management. Where enabled, DataForSEO supports SEO research, and email-delivery providers send account invitations. Hosting, database and secure-storage providers also support Hub operations.
Providers receive information needed for their role. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the services and the people using them. We do not sell personal information or use Hub workspace data to target advertising.
Google connections and AI
When you authorise a Google connection, Hub accesses the selected accounts and marketing information needed for the reporting features you use, such as Analytics, Search Console or Google Ads reports. It stores connection authorisation details and relevant reports so that your authorised workspace users and agency team can use those features.
When you use AI assistance, selected messages, relevant conversation history, business context and connected-report results may be sent to OpenAI to answer your request. Conversations and response records may also be retained in Hub. Avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in messages.
Our use of Google user data is limited to the purposes explained here and the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. New uses that require further consent will be explained before they begin.
You can disconnect a service in Hub and revoke access through that provider’s account settings. Disconnecting does not automatically erase reports, conversations or records already held. Contact us if you want to request their deletion.
Overseas processing
Our providers may process or store information in Australia and in other countries where they and their service providers operate. Processing locations depend on the connected services and features you use. Contact us for information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your service.
Security and retention
We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. Access to client workspaces is limited by membership and permissions.
Information is retained according to its purpose, the service agreement, security and audit needs, and applicable legal requirements. Ending access or archiving a workspace does not automatically delete its records. Backups and records needed for legal, contractual or security purposes may remain after other information is removed.
Requests and complaints
Email info@onsidegrowth.com.au to ask about our handling of information or request access, correction or deletion. Please identify the relevant service or workspace without sending passwords or access tokens.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. We will explain any limits on a request, including information that must be retained or is controlled by your organisation or another provider. Available rights and complaint options depend on the law that applies to the information and service.
If you have a concern, contact us with enough detail to investigate and respond. We will explain the outcome and any further complaint avenue available under applicable law.
Policy updates
We will update this page when our practices change and show the latest revision date above. Where a change requires a separate notice or consent, we will provide it before the relevant new use begins.
